Chapter 440 The Unexpected Surprise:>Ep5
- She quickly discovered that walking in the alley wasn't quite the same as on the flat, smooth sidewalk. It was full of uneven paving, potholes now filled with muddy water, and overhanging branches weighed down by the rain that forced her to stoop and dodge around them. But, it seemed deserted, and that was the important thing.

- Halfway through the block, she heard the bark. Not a loud, angry bark but a more playful sound. She didn't see a dog... until he burst from a backyard, big, hairy, and very wet and muddy. He jumped at her, his tail wagging, and she had a muddy streak down her stomach and belly.
